He strongly opposes interrogation methods and procedures that brought about emotional and physical suffering. • He said he would expand the Hate Crimes Statute by supporting the Mathew Shepherd Act. This would strengthen federal hate crime legislation and also pull up the Department of Justice. • He plans to ban racial profiling by federal law enforcement agencies and provide federal incentives to local police departments who help to prevent this practice. |
