Who are the potential 2012 Presidential Candidates?

? McCain supports amnesty / permanent legalization for illegal
aliens and temporary legalization for illegal aliens as guest
workers.

? He initially supported the temporary guest worker program
that failed to advance in US Senate and then his position to
emphasize border security first.

? Advocates tightening of the border by increasing patrols.

? He would increase the number of visas issued for
agricultural workers.

? McCain supports relaxing the restrictions barring legal
immigrants from using social programs such as food stamp,
health care and housing.

• Obama wants to have a crack down on employers hiring
illegal immigrants by arranging stronger enforcement at the
workplace and at the borderline. His idea is to stop the flow
of more immigrants while being kind to the illegal immigrants
already living in the U.S.

• Obama feels that by increasing the legal fees on
immigrants is discriminating against people with good
character who don?t have the money to pay for immigration.
Instead it would be good to improve the Mexican relationship
with the government and use their economy to produce jobs on
the other side of the border.

• He feels that it is impractical to deport the 12
million illegal immigrants to their countries, but instead it
would be better to get them from living in the shadows to the
open through the Dream Act by which children of these
immigrants, who for no fault of their own, have been born and
brought up as Americans, could gain higher education. He says
there should be no two classes of citizens in the country.

• If every student is allowed to study a second
language, English being the main language. English speaking
children should be encouraged to study foreign languages
because the world is interdependent and bilingual education
would help Americans to communication across boundaries.

• Obama plans to improve the immigration system by
fixing the dysfunctional immigration bureaucracy; bring
immigrants out of the shadows by allowing those who are in
good standing to pay a fine, learn English and apply for
citizenship; work with Mexico to promote economic development
which will decrease illegal immigration further.
